Amazing 10mm figs

Post by wkeyser » Wed Mar 23, 2011 8:37 am

Hi
Well I know most use 28mm but really we all know that those are just toy soldiers

If you want to see wargame figures then take a look at this amazing 10mm range just strarting at Pendraken.

Scroll down to see some photos. I can just imagine filling those 28mm bases with 10mm figures and that would look fantastic en masse!

Amazing figures for 10mm but the downside is going to be that with all that detail on them they'll take nearly as long as 28mm figures to paint.

Here are few samples I painted up one a French Regiment the other a Dutch. Both are based for Captain General.

With such detail, I would like to know how they compare in size to 15mm figures, especially the smaller ones, Hallmark and Dixons, perhaps they could mix in !!
Any chance of a comparison photo from someone who has both the 10mm & 15mm ??

Dilly,

my camera is out of order, but pendraken's 10mm are not compatibles with halmark figures... i will try to use my cellular to post a couple of pictures in a few days.

best regards

Hi Dilly
I would agree they are not compatable with Halmark. However, they are just as nice, as far as sculpting, proportions, and detail as most 15mm figs and some 25-28mm figs.

Clib is the sculpture and I hope he gets more added soon, we need firing figures for the infantry, then Grenadiers, Arty and all the Cav. But since the quality is so high I am willing to wait.

I have a set of 10mm Pendraken for the Scanian War, Swedes and Danes Lund 1676 ( Used the League of Ausberg range). They are hard to paint as I remember.

I had some for Hastings which I sold to get some OG 25s (early Medieval is the only thing for which I can use 25s).

I don't know whether I could paint them any more (getting old, hands not as steady, eyes have fixed focus). Tried to get in touch with Pendraken for some FPW samples, if they still give them out, to try painting those. But I got no answer.

If you can paint them, you will like them. They are nice and clean.

My two Cents.
