Hi Guys,
a little bit of info. Work is still going on right now but Spencer has been quite unwell for the last few weeks and has been out of circulation.
All of the design and moulding stuff has been continuing apace but trying to balance work, the publishing of the book and the new range has just been a little too difficult so I have no definite date yet. The project is VERY much alive though and new codes continue to be designed by the sculptor. The only limiting factor is currently available time!
Cheers
B

Gentlefolk,
I popped into Static Games in Glasgow this morning and was informed that our friend Spencer is seriously ill and in intensive care.
For those that do, a wee prayer or two might come in handy.

Perhaps you should read Jim's message, the one above yours.
Cheers

I was in static last Sunday and was told that Spencer had only gotten out of hospital the previous Wednesday after having major surgery.
He has apparently lost about 8 stone but is now on the way.

Jim,
That's good news, I'm heading in there tomorrow and will let everyone know the progress.
Regards,
Jim

Even though I've not had the pleasure of meeting Spencer, I wish him a speedy recovery, his health is the most important thing and I'm sure when he is fully recovered, with the help of Barry and friends, he'll get back to his fledgling range...but not before he has his health back as until then nothing else matters (I speak from experience).
Wishing him all the best.
Stuart

Thank you lads on behalf of Spencer. The good news is that I spoke to the fellow himself this very day. He is out, weak but recovering and sounding a lot more like his old self. His recuperation will be long but that will give him time to annoy the life out of everyone else concerned with the project! I am pleased to say, things have progressed even during the time of Spencer's absence and so... keep your chins up and powder dry.. they're coming!!!

That has to be the best one-line description of Spencer that I have ever seen.

Like everyone else I wish Spencer a speedy recovery.
In the meantime I can assure anyone interested that the sculpting of new packs continues.

I do not know Spencer, but I wish him the best.
Is there a thread somewhere that talks about the extent of what will be in the range? I'd very much like to see some distinctively Spanish looking units based on the drawings in the Boeri volume on the Spanish army.

Is there another thread or blog to check for the status on the figure range? I have been checking this thread regularly for several weeks.
As does footslogger, I certainly wish Spencer well.
Cheers...

I think we're looking at August, Dwight. I'll certainly have an announcement on my blog and it will be front page news here as well!
