Paul, the details I got when I painted my unit were white lined green, & white lined red after 1692.

Hope this helps

Hello, Paul.

The following is taken from the excellent CD ROM "Uniforms & Flags of the Dutch Army and The Army of Liege 1685-1715" by Robert Hall, Iain Stanford & Yves Roumegoux that I obtained from the great blokes at On Military Matters.

Consistent with what Bob said, this reference shows that from ~ 1690 uniforms are white coats (the text describes light grey kersey material however) lined red for the cavalrymen; NCO's & officers in red coats with red linings - officers with silver lace & orange sash, and trumpeter with red coat with yellow linings and white trumpeter's lace - the hanging sleeve is shown as yellow with white lace. Buttons are white metal and horse furniture is red lined white.

This should be a nice looking unit. This reference also gives a 1686 standard for the unit of gilt fringed standard with gold leaf lace around the perimeter, inside which is a black or dark blue saltire with the ends of each arm ending as a triangular point. A 1687 reference gives a colonel's standard with a white field & company standards of blue-grey field with a dark blue saltire.

Hope this is useful.

Cheers, Rohan.
