Period Books - Google Books

Post by Peleliu » Sat Jan 18, 2014 7:39 am

Hello all. Longtime lurker and first-time poster (I think). Just wanted to share some NYW finds on Google Books. I stumbled across a few French texts that may be of interest. All look like 18th-19th century publications. I don't read French, but can manage well enough with a little electronic help. The following link will point to one book and other suggestions should show at the bottom of the page.

Great find ! Although I don't read French very well, the book does include some interesting tabular information regarding deployment etc.

I've just finished Childs' history of the Nine Years War so this is very well timed.

Thank you,

Phil

PS. I wonder what other gems are lurking out there ?
