Has anyone an idea where I will find information on the Franconian Troops of this time? Regiment Erffa, Schnebelin and Durlach. Can't find a clue how those would have looked like not to say what flags they would have...

Thanks,

Gents,
while reading through the R.Hall CD of the Imperial Austrian Army my eye has fallen on the following:

Wilson z. Fuß (Irish) 1693 (disbanded). This regiment was made up of Irish soldiers of the army of James II in England. These men had been interned on the Isle of Wight and were sent to the Emperor. A later regiment was also formed in 1691-92 and sent to the Emperor under formal command of Lord Iveagh and probably added to this one.

Does anyone of you know how they would have looked like or who they were?

Cheers,
Günter

Today the Imperial Austrian Hohenzollern Cuirassier arrived. 2 BlB Squadrons strong. Glued on bases tonight and maybe ready for pictures on Thursday.

Thanks for the kind words, Gents.
I realy like those Imperial Troops as they are a bit 'different' to my Saxon Horde :D

Currently they have gone dormant as RL is taking its toll and I dont possess a Gold-sh...ing Donkey  :D

Most likely following troops will be a brigade of 4 Prussian Battalions...cant say for sure for now.

Cheers,
Günter
