1672 Dutch regiment - Painted

Post by Orctrader » Fri Sep 19, 2014 7:46 am

Took me a very long time to finish these, between other painting and, mainly, RL

Thought folks here would like to see them.

Wow ! These are superb. Really like the effect on the faces and white areas (sleeves and cravates).

I've painted a few French battalions up using these figures and appreciate how long it can take.

Very, very nice.

The miniatures are superb, very fine finish

but (forgive me) the flag is gruesome

These gorgeous minis deserve an equally gorgeous flag

Verrrry nice... PS can these be used for James II, Willamite period? If so what figures would match in size for the grenadiers eg front rank grenadiers or ebor just asking as they don't do grenadier figures but they look amazing miniatures and off put at the moment as I like grenadiers in my regiments.... think its just me thats concerned in having no grenadiers on my regiments flanks lol
