New Grand Alliance period mounted dragoons

Post by barr7430 » Mon Jun 06, 2016 10:13 pm

They finally reached the top of a very large pile of casting priorities and will shortly head off to be mastered.

We are very proud of these sculpts but recognize that there may be some amongst you that have a question mark over the sizing of the horses.

Read the article and tell us what you think

Barry,

you have made me a happy man, not just with the release of your mounted dragoons but with them mounted on smaller horses. I understand that this is the same kind of debate as soft hat vs tricorn and pike vs no pike, but I think you have nailed it.

From all that I have read, dragoons tended to be the last in the line for new horses, the icing on the cake would be for you to produce a figure of a foot figure riding behind a dragoon as happened several times in Ireland :D

can't wait until I can get hold of them.

cheers

Wonderful! I look forward to painting them.
