BLB & WSS

Post by curassier » Tue Feb 06, 2018 11:59 pm

Greetings all,
Please can you tell me if the BLB rules are suitable for fighting WSS battles - are there any obvious adaptations that need to be made ? I know I have also asked this before but would love to see some additional pictures of how people base their foot dragoons for this period. All best

I have mine based on a normal infantry base but with only 5 figures instead of 6, Barry has this as well but also has a number of individually based figures for detachments but it doesn’t make a big difference how you base them but I was considering rebasing mine individually for using in Donnybrook.

I base my wss on 3 60x60 mm bases plus a 3 figure command base.seems to work pretty well..

Here is a large regiment of dismounted dragoons:

For WSS the main difference will be the move to all musket foot regiments and universal bayonet use. The third edition of the rules has allowance for foot with all different proportions of pikes down to none at all.
