Late XVII c. Spanish tercios colour plates

Wow that's great

The 1700 walloon tercio the musketeer in the creamy, beige/brown coat, is that what the French were using in the 1680-90s?. As I've seen some paintings were the uniform is definitely not grey like you see in the 1700s

thanks mate! Mmmm I am not sure about that... there seems to be a lot of different shades of greys and beige in the "off white" coats.

Super stuff!! The Spanish have some lovely,colourful uniforms, great resource there. :)
