MUNSTER TROOPS 1672

Post by curassier » Tue May 21, 2019 6:06 pm

North Star do a rather nice figure for the Bishop of Munster in their 1672 range.

Can anyone point me to a source of uniform and flag information for the units under his command ?

many thanks

I've got a uniform plate in my files of a Munster Grenadier 1679, will try and find and do a scan, uniform is white with green facings, i did a conversion from an old Minifigs S range Dutch Grenadier by altering the head gear, worked out well

Thank you sir - we are delving into very uncertain territory here.
I think flags will have to be approximated too using the arms of the bishopric etc.

I too would be interested in a copy of this picture. Based on the description, it would appear to be that of Regt von Gougreven from May 1679. Do you remember the source for the picture?
