DH Casualties

Post by theoldschool » Mon Aug 13, 2007 7:23 pm

I picked up a copy of Price of Glory, the WW1 version of DH. Although similar to DH, the POG rules give a much clearer explanation of the use of cover and LOS, including a new terrain type called Dips and Folds which represents broken/undulating ground.
Most interesting is that POG does not apply the 10 and 1 rule to firing, only morale. If the firer's ACC is reduced to 0 they can hit on a 1 followed by a 3 or less. Below 0 there is no chance to hit. This would certainly reduce the bloodbath in DH.

FROM PAT CONNOR:

A Bit of a WOW    FACTOR on this I think

Picked up this clarification from the authors of DH on their Yahoo group:

Yep, add all weapons MM, even the same weapon. So if two LMG's were firing, they get added together.

That makes one hell of a difference to morale.
