Have used Rapid Fire but don't like them too much.
Have used GHQ Microarmour(doubled ranges being the only mod) - very good results
Have used Flames of War - doubled ranges but also as written - very good results.

Heh. I know your feelings about Rapidfire. I will take a look at FOW since I already have those. I noticed three man stands from your 28mm photos... nine-man units appeal to me after my latest projects! Is that your standard basing method for infantry?

Does "ranges" refer to movement and shooting?

Hi Clarence,

Yes shooting ranges/movement distances

I have gone for a squad : 1 x 4 figure base plus 1 x 3 figure base = 7 figures

German platoon(at full strength) would then be 4 x 7 = 28 + command base of Leutnant and Feldwebel/unteroffizier.
Understrength either 21 + 2
or
14+2 (2 squads plus command)

Thanks!

I rushed off to look at my FOW and decided that stands of 2-4 models (depending on the type) would work well. I might hold off for a while (I have way too many projects going), but I am hoping to take a look at something with this in the future.

I just don't like painting 15mm models...
