OK Boys !

The fun is about to begin. I have posted a sample unit structure in the Warchest - Sands of Time. This unit will shortly be assigned to either Herr Steiner, Herr Beal or Quindia! The other two units will follow then the Soviets.

I will also begin to post Situation Maps from this evening. These are general orientation maps showing the relative positions on a 24 hour basis since commencement of hostilities at 0001, 28th June 1944. Each turn has been 6 hours and I have one engagement to complete on Turn 22, 1200 3rd July. After that you guys are on!

As we work up to that documents will start to appear in your iInboxes giving data about mechanisms, unit status and command decisions you have to make.

I will begin a new section on the Forum to deal exclusively with the campaign.

Have a look at the overall SitMaps from 28th to July 1st also in the Warchest. This is a basic `welcome to hell' intoduction

Good luck!

Dear Players,

first four commands are up. Next will be David Imrie's (his is specific becasue he's already a long term player and is having a command 'realignment' for the last six moves).
That means the Soviet command already up is going either to Paul or Chris.
The German commanders will get notice of who's got what by e mail over the next couple of days 8)

As Quindia said to me by e mail.... it's gonna be tough for the Ted!!

In which case Paul why don't you take the first Soviet unit posted by Barry today and I'll wait for the final one?

Chris.

Ian,

I'm a bit slow.... I read your post on Monday and thought it was some kind of Shakespearian reference... but now I get it!! maybe it's because I'm in Germany right now that I picked up the vibe!!

Campaign units all done now. They'll be uploaded when I get home either late thursday or early friday. At that point the unallocated units will be allocated. David is already marked for the 19th Guards Tank Brigade, Paul for Shock Brigade Svyatoslav, that means Chris will get the Shock Group A, 7th Guards Mechanised Brigade when I post it.Der Fritzes will have to wait a day to get yours!

Cheers

I should be able to squeeze another one in! Take a couple of days to rustle up the unit profile but watch this space. With a name like Pappenheim you should really be a German but they are a bit thin on the ground in Byelorussia in early July 1944!!!

Cheers

Well,

Paul Mc blooded the 338th Rifle Division at Karapol today and found that battered, out of supply, outgunned and outnumbered the Wehrmacht Heer are still no pushover !

The 57th Infantry Division still lives!!!!

Roll on to victory whichever dictatorship you are backing!!!

More soon with some pics
