Peter, it was a great pity you couldn't make it, you missed a great weekend. Adrian organised a nice quiet and reasonably cheap hotel with a lovely pub with good food just along the road. As you will have gathered from other meetings much alchohol was consumed.
Sundays games were excellent with a large variety of games. You can see some pics on Angus' site.

The Ligny game looked great as always and the WW2 Syria game that Colin and myself put on generated a huge amount of interest and we were kept busy all through the show explaining the Iraq, Syria and Iran campaigns to guys that were dedicated WW2 gamers and had never heard of the period. It was also interesting to meet an old chap who had actually been there but after the fighiting had finished. Needless to say he was really chuffed to see the game. Hopefully can you make one of the shows next year.

Cheers
Dave
