New Grandpa in the gang

Post by obriendavid » Fri Jul 02, 2010 3:42 pm

Gents, just a short note to let the other memeber of the LOGW know that Colin Jack has just become a Grandad. His daughter Vicky just gave birth to a baby girl Katharine at 1.30 this afternoon after previous disappointments you can imagine how pleased they all are and everyone is keeping well.

Cheers

If you actually read what I posted it said that Vicky had a girl called Katharine, I hadn't posted the weight which was 6lbs 5oz.

I take it colin is not a cigar man? Maybe a cigar shaped space ship would do? :D .

I always thought it was the Grand parents that were supposed to be spoilt by the rest of the family for all the baby sitting you're going to be asked to do?

So far Colin hasn't seen any of these messages as he's been too busy but I did mention them to him this afternoon and he is very grateful.
Cheers

Thanks guys for all the kind words, and thanks Dave for the original post.
Certainly enjoying the new status. Looking forward to the day when she can start rolling dice. Apparently she is being taken to Claymore! :D :D

Many congratulations Colin , at least you can give her a female friendly army to play with when she's older!

Colin,
Please accept my belated congratulations on your elevation to Grandadhood. The first is always the favourite until they waken you in the middle of the night with, "Is it morning time now?"
Seriously you strike me as the perfect Grandad, almost on the same level as Andy, who should of course be known as Grandy.
I haven't been on the site for over six weeks which is why I hadn't heard the news. If I leave it for another six maybe another gentleman will have joined the ranks of the Order of Grandadhood. Something to look forward to lads.
Keep them wargamers comin'.

Colin , good to see Katherine at her first wargames show at Claymore. She seemed to be showing particular interest in our 20mm Rapid Fire game!.
She should have won an award for youngest visitor.
