Just better make sure of this. I'm coming in February, wild horses could not keep me away. Naturally, being French this time I would just eat them.

As a bit of an appetite whetter I have belatedly posted up a couple of pics from the last 1812 Weekender. These show a BEFORE & AFTER of the large southern Fleche concerning the attention directed on it by a gaggle of gallic guns or is that
a canister of cannons, possibly even

a heap of howitzers.. anyway, we can promise but more of the same but on an even larger scale,,, got to knock out and take the Raevsky this time.
Toggy! Mount up!

Dear All,

just a quick update from my side.

We have 15 attendees already confirmed for the weekender. I will contact you individually by email shortly.
On the hotel booking side of things:

1. Please call the hotel and make a booking either for a single room or if you are sharing, a twin. The price will be £45 per night for a single and £30 a night if sharing. They will not take a deposit. They may say the rate is more but just book the room anyway and we'll adjust the bookings when we meet them next week.
The food tariff will be confirmed within 10 days but will be in rough line with the previous:
£30 covering 2 x lunch 1 x breakfast and 1 x 3 course dinner.

The important thing is to get your shout in for rooms as this is likely to be the biggest event we've run so far.

Any questions just shout as usual!!

Cheers

Barry
