Potley's Yellow Coats

Post by olddorg » Wed Feb 06, 2013 3:40 pm

Some pics of a Parliamentarian yellow coat regiment. In this case Sir Andrew Potley's as at Cropredy Bridge in 1644. Could, however, represent any yellow coated regiment.

More pics on blog at: http://themetalmountain.blogspot.com

Figs by Renegade and Bicorne. Flag hand painted.
Based for 'Victory Without Quarter' Rules.

(This unit is for sale - see blog.)

As usual, superb work.

Any reason you painted their pikes a different color from the other wood in the regiment?
With Gen'l Custer Down in Mexico: Yes, one of the goals is to see how many times one can get him killed.

Beautifully done, especially with yellow being such a challenging colour to work with! :D
