You may call it sarcasm........I, on the other hand, prefer to refer to it as a humorous observation!!! :-)

Gents/Attendees

Just following on from Barry's initial message and can concour, looking forward to meeting up with you regulars again - and some of the first time guests joining us for their first experience.

Your rooms will be ready from late afternoon and for those who need watering and feeding after your journeys, there will be a 'bistro bar menu' available from 7.00pm (sorted from last time!)

Barry, Bob and myself have been working on the scenario/table and have come up with what we think is a very interesting game for your enjoyment.

NO DETAILS being leaked at ths point - I think the order of the day will be .....' shock and awe....'

As usual my phone will be on throughout Friday 1st if anyone should need to contact me (07703168724).

Have safe trips up/down/from Europe - and don't forget your tape measures/dice/rules/'lucky gonks' etc...

Dear Friends,

It seems that I will arrive a bit later then anticipated because of a short-term transportation change. Have to take the train from Birmingham up to Derby.

See you all there!

Dear Friends,
Sunday evening I was that exhausted that I slept away around 8:00PM.
Now I am sitting here on Birmingham Airport and it seems I am the first to post something about another superb weekend! I dont find the right words to say how thankfull I am to be part of those loveley weekends with all of you.

Games on Saturday and Sunday have been full of fun and awe, referring to those beautiful painted minitures on the table, the jokes we played on each other, the banter and the rather long nights of friendship and joy.

My thanks to Bob, Adrian and Barry. I was very happy to meet you all again including new faces, old chaps and some bloody bastards

The games were a series of more or less linked separated battles. On the first day we had 1 win and some 'draws'. The second day saw 2-3 clear defeats, including me, and 2 wins.

So, looks like my flight is called for.
Hope you got all home well!

Cheers,
Günter

Good times.

I dropped Bill off just after 8pm and was home myself sometime between 8.30 and 9pm. Slept for a very long time then went into night-shift last night. That was a bit of a slog

Anyway, it was great to see everyone that could make it and those that couldn't were missed.

Looking forward to the photies.

As Barry seems to have been caught somewhere I post a few pics myself taken on the second day. God knows why the hell I forgot to use my camera on the first day

Thanks for posting the pics Gunter of what seems have been another enjoyable weekend, it's just a pity I wasn't there but at least plenty of my toys seem to have made it onto the table.
Cheers
