Murawski Miniatures Polish

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Murawski Miniatures Polish

Post by valleyboy » Sun Oct 13, 2013 2:01 am

Played a game last week with this lot in a massive refight of Leipzig in Wellington (the place in NZ not the person!)
These are meant to be infantry from Poniatowski's VIII Corps and part of the 26th division along with some of the Krakus
All are Murawski Miniatures (with the exception of the front rank command base back left) available from RTB at Murawski Miniatures and now from Eureka down under

I still have the elite companies to finish on 3 of the battalions so at the moment 3 are 36 figure strong and 3 are 24 strong

These come with loading and firing crews and the guns are by Eureka

The krakus are really quite animated so I can't wait to get some uhlans

What a fantastic collection, beautifully painted and based figures from a company I've never heard of before.
Some great poses and facial expressions on the figures and excuse my ignorance, but did Polish gunners wear the green uniform??? I thought they were Russian's when I first saw them.

Cheers,

Ray.

They are lovely indeed, Valleyboy, and a tempting target for any Russian force!

Are you going to finish the cavalry brigade and paint up the 14th Polish Cuirassiers?
