OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

I bought my pal Richard's (BlindJack on this forum) 15mm French NYW army and am going to carry on where he left off. Here's my first unit the French, Dragoon regt Firmacon.

I'll try and remember to post all my new and a few pics of Richard's French here on this same link. And if you want to see a few more pics of the Dragoons check out my blog.

Ray,
Ooooooh hell you've gone "Frog". Unit looks great! So what's the plan for the French expansion? How many units are you looking at to paint up?

Cheers Chaps!!! Yep gone all Frenchie!!!
Here's a pic of the army I bought from Richard, I should (should? who am I kidding?????) need to paint up around 7 infantry units, another 6 squadrons of Dragoons and roughly 8-10 squadrons of Horse.

Ray,
A very nice addition to any army. Kinda like a "Shake-n-bake" army...not really sure how to say that in French...but oh la la. I didn't see any guard units...can't really see from the picture, did you inherit any?

What EvilGinger said!!!
No not really????
I'm planning on 16 foot regts I've got 10. 12 regts of Horse (2 squads in each) I've 8 at the moment.......I think??? And probably 4 or 6 Dragoons and I've 2 of them. Its a pretty fluid and quite mental plan if I'm being honest??
