Austrians

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

These look very nice Bob except with the two Fracophiles we game with they will all be classed as RAW recruits with even slugger sluggish commanders
Whereas it's a well known historical fact that the French never used troops that were less than veteran elites
Looking forward to seeing them on Sunday and I'll leave my 'lucky' green dice at home.
Cheers

Very nice Bob, that's a good force you're building up for the Austrians. Any cavalry on the way?

A lovely command vignette and battery (with all the gubbins!) Bob! The detailed map and hussar 'orderlies' are great touches. :D

Veteran Elite???........Really?????..........Surely they must be Guard?????? 8)
You may call it sarcasm........I, on the other hand, prefer to refer to it as a humorous observation!!! :-)

A shot of Hussar Regt. 4 in action, shortly before wiping out a Russian Cuirassier Regt.

Yes, they do indeed! :D

They are reminding me of my own, quite small, Hussar Regiment

Well done, Herr Toggmeister!
