Looking Ahead

Post by curassier » Thu Aug 18, 2016 5:26 pm

Barry,
I am thinking of trying out some units for the GNW period.
Can you give me a sense of what might be coming next in terms of figures and flags ?

Will you, for example, be doing Danish and German flags ?

All of a sudden there seems to be so much more information available for this conflict - the GNW Compendium was a huge leap forward.

All the very best

Hello Jonathan and Truls

The Swedish and Russian cavalry are being sculpted right now and I will hear from Clib soon on progress. Both should be available commercially by October.
In addition further Russian infantry are already on the stocks.

Regarding the Danes, we already have tricorned cavalry codes covering the Danes. Infantry with be relatively straightforward.

Flags will be available too.

Barry I think I read somewhere that you were also planning tricorn infantry? Suitable for war of Spanish succession? The Danish is of course a good start but for me who is a lover of all French l would really love French wss infantry. For cavalry like dragoons one could still use the9yw ones or where they very different?

We have very big plans Sven! The French have been a bit neglected I agree but we will put that right too!
Clib is a very busy chap!

When you work for a Scottish Laird, you have to work hard for that half a Guinea a week salary!
