Bavarian infantry War of Spanish Succession

Post by footslogger » Thu Dec 27, 2018 1:20 am

My google fu is weak. I used to have, err, I thought I had, a bookmark of a photograph of a mannequin of a Bavarian soldier from the War of Spanish Succession in a museum in Germany. Not only do I not have the bookmark, I don't seem to be able to find it with Google search. Anyone here recall that photo? Have a link?

Not sure if that helps...
But Re-Enactors of Bavarians at Hoechstaedt(Blenheim) are most likely the best source

„Macht Euch Euren Dregg alleene“

"Sort your filth out by yourself!" The King of Saxony Friedrich August III., at his abdication 1918, referred to the quarrels in the parliament and the squabbling within the provisional government.
