Barry, although I don't have any painted 28mm WW2 soldiers I do have about 30+ armed civilians from our Friekorps games plus armed sailors which miIght fit in if you are short of troops.

I also have most of the Colin Rumford buildings if you would like me to bring them up. Although they are 20mm scale Colin and myself have used them successfully for our Friekorps games without any problems. I don't know if you can remember our Friekorps game we put on at Partizan last year where we basically had a 6x4 town.

Cheers

My Russian armour is dear too my heart, I would intrust its care to you and Bob as always. There is a but though! Someone would have to airlfit them to Kirre, as due to numerous other commitments(work included) I have no time at present to drop them off!!!!

Guys thanks for all the replies so far:

I am compiling the scenarios right now.

Colin: All your stuff will be very useful (as will Dave's French Resistance!)
What about the sailors Dave? what nationality(if their are Russian they may be useful!)

Peter McCarroll: Life saver 8) with two American platoons, with my own plus Gary's British & Colin's US infantry we'll manage nearly an understrength Battalion in 1:1 !!

Day 1 is an Infantry slog in Normandy with max infantry and minimal armour.
Day 2 is A major Tank clash on the Eastern Front - 1944 Sept - Poland.
We will use about 60 or 70 tanks. We will need Soviet and German infantry too but not as much as on Day1.
I will compile a precise list and post shortly. On day 1 we'll need enough buildings to make three small villages.
On day 2 enough buildings for three small Russian villages.

Hope this is useful in your planning

Best I can offer is on the terrain section with Russian Timber Buildings out of the "Mr T paint workshop". (Church and 6 buildings) Other than that I am afraid no other suitable materials other than scenics and tiles.

For Mr T, I have enough air transports to airlift your troops ( Goering thought he had too !) if you are willing, and due to my present indispostion, I have time on my hands if you wish to call and set a time/date for the airlift :)

Barry, the sailors are Germans but if you don't look too closely and the fashion police aren't around they could pass as Russians.

I probably have enough buildings to make the small villages. Do you want the abbey?
