Title : Disgrace!

The arrival of air support in such large numbers panicked the Germans. An aerial view of Imrei's Sturmgeschutz Zug caught in the open whilst advancing to the North of St Bernard. Vehicles 21 and 22 were hit with the latter being knocked out totally. Despite his experience,Leutant Imrei fled the field leaving the entire Northern flank open and effectively gifting victory to the Americans. After the action he was Court Martialled ,his sentence no doubt being influenced by the tremendous fight put up by his abandoned Kameraden and the death of Krieger. He has begun his sentence as a 'Schutzen' - Rifleman in a Mine Clearing Straf Battalion in East Prussia.
