I would like to build an Italian army [not neapolitan]

They had metal lozanges on their shakos, the pictures of them show they had black gaiters, would they have worn these on campaign ?

Is their any suitable figures out their, any help would be gratefully receaved.

Hi Barry Yes Italian, I got such a buzz from useing those fine fellows 8) and I feel obliged to paint a brigade of them with a battalion gun of course. I have this urge to go out and buy some nice figures for a new army, they have a love of pretty girls and ice cream.

I commanded Italians on both days, they fought like heros before going home to mama for their tea.
