Dis mounting Dragoons

Hi Barry Having a week off from sending you glaringly obvious questions about the rules but do have one about dismounting dragoons. I`ve got a mounted and dismounted dragoon squadron painted now and haven`t had a chance to use them so what do you recommend for the amount of a turn used to dismount a...

Hi Infantry don`t get to fight back vs cavalry in any round. They can fire as the charge goes in and can use a saving throw if the unit has pikemen present and the cavalry charge home. But in the second round they don`t even get the saving roll as they are classed as disorderd so the pikes are usele...

Hi So can a unit not being charged fire at a unit which which is charging another unit (i think not). I don`t think a square could be pushed back but ray forgot to mention that his raw unit became shaken by the unit being charged test and was extremely lucky to form the square in the first place ( c...

Hi Just painted a squadron of dragoons but haven`t used them yet and was wondering why do they lose one figure in four instead of one in three as they are organized as two bases of three figure per squadron. Obviously you have to demonstate how they aren`t up to the standard of cavalry when charging...

Reiver miniatures

Hi I use riever figures and did have a bit of a problem basing them on the 45 frontage especially the advancing stuff with bayonets and charging cavalry. However I staggered the cavalry which looks great and did manage to squeeze the advancing infantry six to a base which also looks how a proper uni...

Hi

I think pre measuring takes the fun out of it. In real life if your a bit of a weed and this big bloke starts chasing you, your arse goes and you leg it you don`t wait and see if he can catch you first. That is the case for the defence I thank you.

charging and making the enemy run away like girls

Hi Barry played a very enjoyable game last night with the boys but could you tell me if we did the right thing while charging. I passed a test to charge, the cavalry unit I was charging failed and routed which we did straight away. I then tried to test to rein in before I used all my normal movement...
