Great looking game Dave. One of the enjoyable aspects of Donnybrook is that it is so easy to tailor, giving units or characters a unique feel. Who are the plywood buildings by?

I have a coat for roughly that period and apparently the material was "boiled wool". Good and heavy so it hangs correctly.

If you are looking for uniforms I recommend Ospreys books, Pinterest app/website and the Vinhuizen collection website. Are there any uniforms in particular you are looking for information about? I find Pinterest to be a bit of a nightmare because so many pictures are badly labelled or their origin ...

After the first game we went back to the history books to look again at the tactics of the period. I want a distinctive feel for the games in this period in the same way that Donnybrook does for the late 17th Century.
