I did notice that they said it was a sample cover Gazza, but I wonder what the future issues will be like :) I don't think it will be far off the format shown.

As I feared, there does seem to be a dramatic change already in the magazine. we will see where this " yellow brick road" ends :?:

Off the top of my head 16 ruins, but cover an area of about 4 feet by 4 feet, when spread out plus roughly another 5-6 european buildings.

True Barry, but regardless of economies, production etc. There is still a choice, which w.i has always offered, hence my fears regards domination from one company. Result is no consumer choice and increased costs :( If BF forces the market pushes the others out=no competition, which will lead to the...

Totally agree with your comments Barry, as I said previously. I don't think wi has been at its best of late anyway. So I for one think the change of ownership will probably good for wi. I just wonder though will they allow advertsing space to competition to their own product etc. :?: As the magazine...

Two words, "White Dwarf." Started with numerous topics, but we see the end product today. A very slick marketing mag, will w.i go this way, who knows :?: But you don't invest money into a magazine, if you are not going to use it for your own interests in some way or other. I would expect to see more...

oh ho !! Will be plastered with fow adverts in no time at all, mind you it already has  To be honest, a new owner may breath a bit of life into the magazine. Some of the articles have been a bit of a hit and miss of late ( my view only) :)

I find most books catering for a certain type of topic i.e wargaming, military history etc. Seem to forget about capturing the attention of the general reader. Just because you produce a book for certain type of interest, does not mean you should cater for one type of market.

OK OK ! I seemed to have started a bit of a conversation on this one! Cards on the table, the games we have played, the -2 to applied to the unit and not the stand. :!: This as mentioned previously was a mis-interpretation of the rules, BUT ! This was taken on the basis that as Barry states i...
