OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

First of all I like to apologies for my long silence, besides of a few postings here and there, but as my "Dream" has now faded away completely and left me entirely broke I now find time again to finish - dust collecting - Saxon Units.
WIP - 3 Regiments of Saxon GNW Infantry until 1704- one of them, those in grey uniforms - a Defensioner Regiment that stood for several Years in Field-Service, therefore no Blokes at all. Regiment Seiferitz

Ah the wonderful Saxons!
Thanks
Well they are, more or less, the last batch I intend to do for those "Early Saxon" Army. Even as they are the actual Saviors of Russia.
What so many GNW Enthusiasts around the Globe like to forget...If Saxon-Poland had not bled in a 5 Years long struggle POLTAVA would not have been possible.
To advance from those 1701-1704 Miniatures to the "Tricorn"-Type I have first to finish the old Troops and than Built up the newer looking Saxons. Aiming more or less for the late GNW Period of 1708-1712 when Saxon-Poland could muster only 12 Regiments Infantry but up to 32 smaller Cavalry Regiments.
