Warfare Wagon Construction and painting advice

Post by nick the greek » Sun Jan 24, 2016 12:01 am

Hello All,
I've just received a plethora of Warfare Wagons and limbers.

With regards to the metal components there are the four wheels, axle, tree's, tongue and three metal bars.
I'm perplexed by the bars, one has a - which I presume is for the double tree. But what are the other two bars for? Does someone have an image of the underside constructed?

Also to get the most out of the wagons, limbers and galloping gun what would be the best colours to paint the timber?
The armies I will field are GNW Swedes, Dane, Saxony & Russians.
LOA Louis XIV, Austrians, English.

Many thanks,
Nick

Don't have my models immediately to hand, but I think there should only be two bars.
A solid one to act as spacer for the rear axle and one with a - in it to act as spacer / swivel point for the front...

Will try to get photo of underside for you.
