Unfortunately I am going to have to withdraw from the Dumfries weekender. My mother is very ill & I've had to change my whole schedule.
I hope to see you all at the "Aughrim Event" or in Derby later in the year.
Paul.
Sorry to hear that Paul!
Take care for your mother.
All the Best!

After a trip from Dumfries to Newcastle with a detour to the Hadrians Wall the Saxon Horded captured, err., boarded a Danish Ferry to Amsterdam where I arrived savely this morning. With one and a half hour delay because of the rough weather in the channel. Debarking was a slow process but I managed to get on tour to Magdeburg at 09:45AM where I arrived 15 minutes ago.
After all it was a VERY enjoyable weekend with quite a few games, two GNW and one Boyne Game for me. Thanks to the Masterminds Barry, Bob and Adrian.
Cheers,
Günter
P.S.: New word learned-> 'k off!

Thanks to all our guests that made the Dumfries Weekender so enjoyable to host!
Some great games and some great 'commanding' by you guys - thourougly entertaining Barry, Bob and myself. Special extra thanks to Gerry for helping umpire the Donnybrook 'Edinburgh' schnanigans.
Congrates to Colin who hit a 'new high' by actually having one of his brigadiers killed/murdered by his own men!!!!
Gunter - I like your growing use of the English language and so glad you learnt a new saying/rebuke!
Looking forward to planning some more mayhem for the Derby Weekender in October.
Cheers
Adrian

They say repetition goes a long way to helping remember new words. I'm glad to have played a small part in helping you remember that particular new word so well

With regards to the October Weekender in Derby, we are just about full - we only have 1 official place left (maybe squeeze 2 people in if you are thinking of coming with a mate) - but that is it.
....
Adrian
Adrian,
Reluctant, but necessary, I must respectfully request my removal from the October Weekender.
Günter
Some may say "he does not know what he wants" but after a long talk with my girlfriend she 'pressed me into service' and told me I have to attend at Derby in October!
Currently I checkout if space will be available to move all the Saxon Armies to Derby as I allready told my sculptor to bring over the Napoleonic Saxons.
Let's see what can be done.
Cheers,
Günter

Herr General,
it may be dangerous for you to attend in Derby... your WANTED poster is all over Wargames Illustrated issue 320. In it, you are a little heavier(kilos) and you have a moustachio disguise but it is definitely you. You appear to be wilfully destroying large quantities of French infantry by advancing them against Russian 12pdrs behind a river in Saxony. The photographic evidence is inescapable and may be used against you in a court of Law.This kind of activity will not endear you to Frenchmen anywhere.
Perhaps your new slimline, 'baby-smooth face' look with deceive the general public into believing you are reformed and not a danger to Napoleonic Divisions any more. I know better.
Nice to know you will be joining the slaughter of Derby!

I confess to have their blood on my hands and Colin killed the surviving Officers too!
