3 Barreled WSS French Artillery

Post by 18th Century Guy » Thu Feb 19, 2009 3:25 pm

Can someone tell me how effective (or ineffective) the French 3 barreled artillery was in the War of Spanish Succession? I've searched Google and here for some results and haven't found a thing.

My guess is those guns were not effective at all but I'd like someone else's opinion and hopefully that is based on some data.

Thank you.

Hi

I think I`ve seen two examples at Fort nelson in Portsmouth. It`s the Royal armouries artillery collection (or part of it) why not try them.
