Actually WWI not WWII but this sub-fora is the closest match.

On Friday afternoon, Steve and I had a great game of General Quarters III, playing a fictitious engagement in the North Sea as a Imperial Navy fleet of battle-cruisers, light cruisers and torpedo boats attempts to draw the Royal Navy into a decisive action.

Great Battle Report.
And a very typicall result whenever german heavy units facing british units.
Thanks for sharing. Still have the complete German High Seas Fleet at home :D Scale 1:2400.
I remember a fictive battle between my High Seas Fleet and the Russian Fleet in the East Sea when I opened up with my Bayern-Class Battleship
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayern_class_battleship
on maximum firing Range with 4 15inch guns scoring 3 hits, killing two turrets and 1 hit into the midship magazine - BOOM!
The Battleship of the Gangut-Class exploded
I had some really enjoyable Seabattles..

Thanks again
Günter

Despite the odds against it, it was one of the German torpedo boats that was destroyed by a magazine explosion, you would have really expected one of the Royal Navy ships to go that way.

I like the Zepplin Gunter, that's a nice little touch to naval warfare.
Cheers
