How'd it go using the event deck?

The game is this weekend so that will be the first outing of the BLB cards. We have used similar cards for a few years now that Barry produced for WW2 and Vietnam and they have added a huge amount of fun to all the games, so I'm sure these will be just as good. I'll see them tomorrow when I'm over at Barrys.
Cheers
Dave

This is actually the single largest deck I have produced with 66 different cards currently and that is before I transfer the existing 52 events from the section in BLB2 currently. Ther will be some redundancy in that activity but I think the total could actually be somewhere near 100 when finished. Probably do them in decks of 20 as previously stated.
Clarence and I will be getting our heads together on custom designs and production shortly.

David and Barry,
Sounds exciting! I just finish this semester of school for about a week, so between painting up some GNW figs, I'll be starting the painstaking task of typing the events from BLBv2 to cards/labels.
Just off hand; are the events different from the two versions of BLB?
Thanks again.

Yes very different but the existing events will be transposed in addition.

Having seen the cards today I have to say I was impressed and as I pointed out to Barry, most of the events are not BLB specific so the cards could easily be used for an set of rules.

Barry, I hope you will also do a full set as a "deal". I'm sure a lot of us will want them all being the obsessional, collecting types that many of us are!
Cheers, Rohan.

Barry,
Well I made myself 40 "Event" cards. Now to use them...How did your weekend game go with your mega deck?
