OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Here is the latest addition to my Russian Infantry Division, Regiment Dnjepr.
Pictures are a bit blurred for which I apologies.

As the future is a bit uncertain this Unit may be the last for a while.
Eventually Staff Officers will follow over the next months but that depends on...MONEY!
Cheers,
Günter

Dear Friends,
Pushed by the thought that I got that far only to stop here was unbearable for me so I decided that the show must go on if only in smaller steps than so far.
Here are pictures of the recently finished Regiment Kostroma which will find its way to me via Derby as Phil Hart intends to visit us at our Big Waterloo Weekender there.

They will receive their flags when I am back from England.
Cheers,
Günter

They all look fantastic Günter ! And I agree, better to keep on with the project than stop it half way. I have too many half done projects sat in boxes.

Dear Friends and Russian-"Makers"
Here are the Pictures of the recently finished Russian Army Commands.
There is a Corps Command, Division Commands and Brigade Commands on Foot

20160130_143404

The Miniatures are a mixture of different manufactures, painted and based by Phil Hart.
Next on the list will be a detour as Phil has the task to paint Saxon Grenadiers for the FPW
but within the Year the Russians receive the 4 Light Battalions followed by "some" Artillery.
Cheers,
Günter
